Located in Richmond, British Columbia, Rumble Boxing offers an energetic and music-fueled boxing fitness experience centered on strength, conditioning, and a sense of community. Known for its intense and performance-driven classes, Rumble combines boxing, strength training, coaching, and dynamic music across 10 rounds to create an addictive and high-energy workout environment.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Studio Manager who aspires to advance into the Studio Manager role. This position is a leadership opportunity, not merely a supporting function. The ideal candidate will lead business operations, manage a team, and focus on driving revenue and performance within the studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize sales and revenue growth by increasing memberships and class package sales.
- Conduct consultations, studio tours, and follow-up communications to maximize client conversion and retention.
- Monitor and act upon key performance indicators such as conversion rates, retention, and attendance.
- Encourage client engagement to foster regular visits and maximize lifetime value.
- Ensure the delivery of a premium, high-energy boxing workout experience that keeps classes filled and vibrant.
- Create an engaging atmosphere that turns newcomers into loyal members.
- Lead front desk staff and trainers, maintaining clear expectations and high standards.
- Develop a positive, high-achievement, and drama-free team culture.
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training new staff.
- Hold team members accountable for achieving results.
- Manage efficient operational processes including labor and trainer scheduling alongside cost control.
- Implement marketing initiatives and in-studio promotional events effectively.
- Resolve operational issues independently and promptly.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A balance of business acumen and energetic presence (each approximately 50%).
- Experience in sales-driven, performance-focused environments such as retail, hospitality, or fitness.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- An ownership mindset that drives accountability.
- Natural high energy and strong presence to lead and motivate others.
- A passion for fitness and performance, comfortable in a fast-paced and loud setting.
- Boxing or group fitness experience is an advantage.
- Preferred candidates come from hospitality leadership, premium retail sales leadership, or boutique fitness front-of-house roles.
Candidate Profile
You will thrive if you combine energetic enthusiasm with disciplined business management, can juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing quality, take initiative, and are motivated to progress into leadership rather than remaining static.
What the Role Offers
- A clear progression path to becoming a Studio Manager.
- Practical leadership experience running a performance-oriented business.
- Opportunities for growth within an expanding fitness brand.
- Exposure to operational management and sales leadership.
Compensation
- A competitive base salary.
- Performance-related bonuses directly tied to studio KPIs.
- Career growth linked to individual and studio performance.
Final Note
This hiring is for someone ready to lead and manage a studio environment. Candidates who thrive in lively, high-energy settings and understand sales and performance metrics are encouraged to apply.
