Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our Queen Street location. You will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to lead daily store functions, foster team development, and contribute to achieving sales goals within a dynamic retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and meeting sales objectives and KPIs.
- Lead, motivate, and support the retail team to provide excellent customer service and achieve business targets.
- Participate in visual merchandising, manage inventory levels, and maintain store presentation standards.
- Help control labour costs and ensure effective employee scheduling.
- Coach and mentor staff to promote personal and professional growth.
- Ensure the store complies with safety and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in senior sales or leadership roles within retail such as Key Holder, Supervisor, Third-in-Charge, or Assistant Store Manager.
- Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to develop leadership capabilities.
- Passionate about staff development and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to drive sales performance and meet targets consistently.
- Knowledge of stock control, visual merchandising, and retail operational processes.
