About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join the Canberra Factory Outlet on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, efficient, and passionate about sports, seeking to contribute within a leading global sports brand renowned for innovation in product performance and fashion. This position involves leading and motivating a team to uphold high standards and drive the store's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager by leading and inspiring the team to accomplish key performance indicators (KPIs), sales objectives, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Monitor sales and performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure commercial achievements.
- Manage daily retail operations within a fashion-focused store environment.
- Set an example in customer service excellence and ensure the team meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Train and guide team members on brand product knowledge and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Coordinate execution and maintenance of Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards.
- Oversee inventory processes to ensure efficient stock handling and replenishment.
- Promote best practices to enhance overall store team performance.
Candidate Requirements
- Solid background in retail sales with demonstrated success in leadership or supervisory roles, consistently steering teams to meet sales targets.
- Motivated, energetic, and passionate about achieving results in a dynamic retail setting.
- Experience in retail leadership within men’s or women’s apparel or sports footwear is highly valued.
