Role Overview
This position is for a Retail Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Leader Trainee. It is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a management team and brings prior supervisory experience. The role is focused on supporting the store leader, building leadership capability, and helping deliver a strong customer experience.

Compensation
The posted pay range is $17.50 to $23.50 per hour. The company notes that final compensation may vary based on role requirements, location, and applicable policies. Bonus, commission, incentive, and other benefit programs are offered at the company’s discretion and may change over time.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Leader in coaching, training, and guiding store employees to deliver excellent service.
- Help build a strong team by hiring qualified people, developing future leaders, and encouraging productivity and retention.
- Assist with merchandising and marketing initiatives in the store.
- Handle cash and fuel transactions accurately and promote the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked store by following sanitation and health procedures.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or retail management experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal ability.
- Comfort using computers, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High School diploma or GED preferred; however, candidates with at least 1 year of retail management experience may be considered without it.
- Valid driver’s license from the state or province of residence and ongoing automotive liability insurance during employment.
- Ability to multitask and perform physical duties such as repeated bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
