Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

As an Assistant Store Leader, you will play a key role in management and help shape the future of convenience retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in customer service, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader to support store employees.
• Maintain high employee retention by recruiting qualified candidates, nurturing leadership skills, and fostering employee productivity and empowerment.
• Support the execution of merchandising and marketing initiatives within the store.
• Handle cash transactions, fuel sales, and promote the company’s loyalty programs responsibly.
• Ensure the store maintains cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and sanitation standards while keeping products well-stocked and presentable.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience overseeing customer service and staff development in a retail setting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with computer software, ideally Microsoft Word and Excel.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; however, candidates with a minimum of one year of retail management experience without these qualifications will be considered.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of automotive insurance during employment.
• Physical ability to multitask, including frequent bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
