Role overview

As an Assistant Relationship Manager in the Corporate Desk Department, you will work alongside Relationship Managers to strengthen and grow relationships with key clients across the assigned geographic area. The role also covers a broad set of administrative and operational duties that help the Relationship Managers carry out their work effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist Relationship Managers with managing client relationships, supporting business growth, and putting corrective measures in place when needed.
  • Contribute to the achievement of profitability, commercial, and risk targets for the assigned client portfolio.
  • Take part in client meetings and provide operational support during discussions.
  • Prepare documentation for credit applications, excluding the drafting of the credit proposal itself.
  • Carry out administrative work for managed clients, including CDD, KYC, AML, and related controls, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Engage directly with clients to address questions, resolve issues, and handle service requests.
  • Maintain high-quality output, meet deadlines, and provide support for urgent transactions when required.
  • Ensure all client management activities follow internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle any other duties connected with Corporate Desk operations.

Candidate profile

  • You should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Corporate and Investment Banking.
  • A university degree or postgraduate qualification in economics or finance is expected.
  • Background in business analysis is required.
  • You should understand credit risk analysis and be able to support the preparation of credit papers.
  • Strong proficiency with computer applications is needed.
  • You need advanced analytical skills, including the ability to review financial statements and market trends.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is required.
