Job description
Role overview

Key responsibilities
In this position, you will handle a broad range of controlling and reporting tasks across Asia Pacific. You will reconcile financial figures between SAP Profit & Loss statements and group data server reports, investigate mismatches, and coordinate fixes with central teams. You will also maintain standard SKU costs, prepare weekly sales reporting with variance checks, support monthly actuals and forecast P&L cycles, and process adjustments arising from cluster review meetings.
In addition, you will assist the Head of Controlling or Regional Controller with recurring reporting needs and one-off requests, analyse reporting outputs to identify gaps between forecast and actual results, and take action on required adjustments. You will serve as the regional go-to person for Power Query and group data servers, build and update data-collection templates, review submissions for completeness and accuracy, carry out ad hoc business analysis, and support user acceptance testing for system enhancements. You will also help improve coordination between sub-regions and central teams by sharing knowledge and ensuring high reporting standards.
Requirements
- Proven background in finance operations within multinational organisations.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, especially for P&L reconciliation against group data sources.
- Advanced Power Query skills and the ability to support colleagues as a regional subject-matter resource.
- Experience preparing sales reports and performing detailed variance analysis.
- Understanding of cost control practices, including maintenance of standard SKU costs.
- Hands-on experience with monthly actual and forecast P&L reporting.
- Ability to carry out ad hoc analysis and respond quickly to changing business needs.
- Strong coordination skills for working with sub-regions and central teams.
- Experience creating templates for data collection and streamlining reporting inputs.
- Careful approach to quality assurance and completeness checks for submitted data.
