Role Overview
As an Assistant Project Manager within the Healthcare division located in Westchester County, NY, you will support the Project Manager with planning, directing, and completing electrical construction projects. Your role includes ensuring client satisfaction and managing financial outcomes aligned with project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing vendors and subcontractors effectively.
- Maintain constant and detailed communication with clients.
- Ensure all project documentation complies with industry standards and company policies.
- Estimate costs for additional scopes of work when necessary.
- Support project team members in utilizing software and tools required for project execution.
- Coordinate closely with field supervision teams.
- Manage layouts, designs, and documentation using Procore and other project management software.
- Participate in project meetings to track progress and address issues.
- Maintain thorough records including progress reports, change orders, and closeout documents.
Candidate Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in project management within electrical contracting or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in electrical engineering or contracting.
- Strong organizational ability and capacity to multitask with close attention to detail.
- Practical understanding of construction processes and project workflow.
- Solid business acumen related to project planning and management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore and Microsoft Office tools.
- Renewable energy project experience is considered advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to travel locally to job sites as needed.

Additional Information
