Job description
Position Overview
The School of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Warwick is seeking to fill two permanent full-time Assistant Professor roles specializing in Translation and Transcultural Studies. The positions commence on September 1, 2022.
Key Areas of Focus
We encourage applications from candidates who have demonstrated expertise or clear potential in the cultural, theoretical, or practical aspects of audiovisual translation and/or the intersection of translation and technology.
Responsibilities
Appointees will be integral members of the School and specifically the Translation and Transcultural Studies section. Responsibilities include developing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum modules related to translation and transcultural studies. They are expected to actively contribute to the school's undergraduate courses, Master’s program in Translation and Cultures, and the doctoral program in Translation and Transcultural Studies.
