Assistant Production Supervisor

Role Overview

The Assistant Production Supervisor is responsible for managing daily work schedules for various technical workers including fitters, welders, turners, buffers, and helpers. This position involves overseeing fabrication and machinery component inspections, ensuring quality control throughout production, and coordinating material checks and packing processes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan and assign daily tasks for fitters, welders, turners, buffers, and helpers.
• Create and verify drawings for components based on measured dimensions.
• Monitor that all scheduled tasks are completed efficiently by the team.
• Conduct inspections during fabrication, machinery component assembly, and final product assembly stages.
• Inspect materials used in electro polishing and zinc painting processes.
• Supervise packing operations to ensure compliance with standards.
• Confirm that production aligns with the dispatch checklist.
• Check raw materials to ensure quality and quantity.
• Record key production statistics detailing components, motors, sizes, and installations.
• Review credit bills to verify received materials against invoices and document their intended usage.
• Prepare monthly raw material and hardware plans based on production requirements.
• Track material procurement and follow up on approved indents.
• Oversee maintenance of machines to ensure operational efficiency.
• Coordinate external work activities necessary for production.
• Diagnose and manage mechanical issues in tables by dispatching fitters for repairs.

Compensation

The monthly salary offered ranges from INR 25,000 to INR 45,000.
