Successful candidates must align closely with the school’s core values and display a heartfelt respect and appreciation for the regional culture and ethos.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the implementation of the annual school assessment and monitoring calendar in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and departmental leaders.
  • Partner with the Principal and Vice Principal to supervise and appraise teachers, supervisors, and curriculum support personnel.
  • Lead recruitment efforts by screening and interviewing candidates for teaching and non-teaching roles, recommending suitable applicants for interviews.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance student achievement aligned with the school development plan, ADEK guidelines, and Aldar Education directives, including school improvement strategies, standardized testing, remedial programs, and data management.
  • Oversee the MAP/Exact Path student achievement framework, coordinate progress-based testing schedules, and manage assessment and reporting systems, data collection, student records, and archiving procedures.
  • Collaborate with SLT on the adoption of new teaching methodologies, resources, and instructional programs.
  • Support and develop continuing professional development (CPD) plans for staff, promoting professional growth and improving teaching effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of required reports, forms, and data to designated authorities.
  • Engage in collaboration with other administrators and staff to enhance team effectiveness and school operations.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the School Principal.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor of Science degree supplemented with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is mandatory; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of six years of professional experience, including at least four consecutive years where teaching performance consistently surpasses standards as demonstrated through appraisals.
  • At least two years of experience in a middle management leadership role within an educational setting.
  • Proven track record in spearheading school initiatives that have successfully raised educational standards and student performance.
