Position Summary
The role of Organizational Health and Wellness Assistant focuses on providing administrative and program support across multiple domains including Organizational Health, Disability Management, Wellness, Violence Prevention, and Peer Support programs. This position requires managing confidential information, ensuring compliance, facilitating program operations, supporting leadership and committees, and contributing to the overall success of wellness initiatives through attentive, confidential, and client-oriented support.
Primary Duties
- Deliver administrative assistance for programs related to Organizational Health, Disability Management, Wellness, Violence Prevention, and Peer Support.
- Maintain confidential records, databases, compliance documents, and program monitoring systems.
- Manage disability management processes, employee health and safety documentation, and mandatory training records.
- Collaborate with Peer volunteers to organize program activities, keep track of initiatives, and uphold confidentiality.
- Organize meetings including preparation of agendas, minutes, reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Track compliance deadlines, maintain program metrics, and assist with audits and continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service engaging with various stakeholders including leaders, employees, unions, and volunteers.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a two-year diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Meditech and Parklane systems is advantageous.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity for confidentiality and sound decision-making.
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail and effective time management in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while providing outstanding customer service.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.
