Job description

Role overview

This position focuses on site-level accounting support for project operations. The job involves handling routine accounting entries, managing vendor and employee-related payments, keeping bank records aligned, and supporting compliance tasks. The role also requires close coordination with internal departments and outside stakeholders so that financial activities stay accurate, timely, and consistent with company policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records in the system, including invoices, payments, receipts, journal postings, and employee expense claims.
  • Help process supplier bills by working with procurement and site teams to verify invoices and secure the needed approvals.
  • Make sure vendors and service providers are paid on schedule, while accounting for applicable GST and TDS deductions.
  • Carry out regular bank reconciliations and work with the bank and internal teams to address any mismatches.
  • Assist with monthly closing work such as checking ledgers, preparing schedules, and compiling financial reports.
  • Support internal and statutory audits by sharing required data and documents, and help close audit queries promptly.

Additional information

This role is based at the project site and is intended to support accounting operations in line with corporate procedures and statutory obligations.
