Role overview
This position sits within Nestlé Canada and is based in North York, Ontario, at 25 Sheppard Ave W, North York, ON M2N 6S8. It is a hybrid role. As the Assistant Marketing Manager for Drumstick, you will help shape the direction of one of Canada’s best-known ice cream brands by combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The role involves supporting the creation of brand plans, bringing new product launches and campaigns into market, and working closely with cross-functional partners to make sure delivery is strong from start to finish. This is a newly created brand role.

Key work areas
- Use data and analysis to spot brand and market opportunities, as well as potential business issues, by tracking performance against key indicators.
- Review brand, category, and competitor results using NielsenIQ and other research or data tools, then turn that information into practical insights.
- Build and deliver monthly updates on brand and competitive performance, giving a full picture of the category and overall business health.
- Use consumer, brand, and market insights to support marketing strategies and tactics within the 18-month brand plan and the 3-year brand plan.
- Own the full execution of innovation and renovation projects, working with other teams to deliver launches effectively.
- Coordinate launch activities and communications such as research, volume planning, packaging, product development, sales presentations, kits, and samples.
- Support brand and category plans through packaging, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and distribution work.
- Track Product Fixed Marketing Expense (PFME), monitor spend, and lead before-and-after evaluations to measure impact against KPIs.
- Create customer-facing materials including sell sheets, cycle kits, and communication plans.
- Assist with marketing operations such as internal presentations, meetings, and events.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings a business-oriented university degree, 2 to 3 years of marketing experience, and preferably a background in consumer packaged goods. You should understand how commercialization works in CPG, be comfortable using internal processes and resources, and be confident with marketing analytics, budget tracking, and performance review tools.

Compensation and hiring notes
