Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Manager for National Accounts to bolster Gisou's commercial objectives. This role involves managing planning, forecasting, and operational excellence within the National Accounts segment, guaranteeing inventory sufficiency, supporting new product launches, liaising with retailers such as Sephora, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead inventory setup and continuously update monthly SKU and channel forecasts.
- Oversee new product forecasts, analyzing demand pre-and post-launch to adjust accordingly.
- Coordinate seasonal stock and sales plans alongside senior leadership.
- Manage inventory adjustments including returns, transfers, and markdowns to reduce returns.
- Handle day-to-day logistics for sales teams including gratis items, samples, and promotional materials.
- Organize the annual sales, trade, and brand planning calendar.
- Maintain and nurture the relationship with Sephora's planning team, ensuring alignment on forecasts, replenishment, and inventory health.
- Support logistics and fulfillment for Sephora's education initiatives.
- Collaborate with trade marketing for sampling strategies and timelines.
- Coordinate event logistics and material needs with the field team.
- Assist senior leadership through sales and inventory reports.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive data to identify growth and risk opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly sales reports with actionable insights.
- Work closely with retail partners to align inventory with sales targets and optimize product placement in stores and online.
- Manage retailer meeting schedules, agendas, and follow-ups.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused individual experienced in sales operations, inventory management, forecasting, or account management. The ideal candidate is data-driven, an effective cross-department collaborator, skilled in multitasking within a fast-paced environment, proactive in problem-solving, an excellent communicator, and passionate about the beauty industry.
Benefits
- 20 days of paid time off annually plus 9 company holidays to support work-life balance.
- Comprehensive health benefits including medical, vision, and dental with up to 80% individual coverage paid by Gisou.
- Life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance options.
- 401(k) plan available after 2 months, featuring a 100% match on the first 1% contribution and 50% match up to 6%.
- A product voucher after the first month to experience Gisou products.
- Access to unlimited confidential mental wellness sessions with licensed psychologists through a trusted partner.
- Technology support with a choice of MacBook or Windows laptop plus necessary equipment to ensure productivity.
