Mahindra Aerostructures is a Bengaluru-based aerospace manufacturing business operating a 25,000 sq. m / 270,000 sq. ft. facility with capabilities in sheet metal work, surface treatment, and assemblies. The unit holds AS9100, NADCAP, Airbus, and Boeing approvals.
The aerospace division of Mahindra Aerospace, run through its wholly owned subsidiary Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt. Ltd. (MASPL), manufactures sheet metal parts and assemblies for global aerospace and defence customers. The Bengaluru greenfield plant was inaugurated in 2013, began regular deliveries in 2015, and is located east of Bengaluru. It is certified to AS9100 Rev D and NADCAP standards and also carries approvals from multiple OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
The facility supplies more than 100,000 parts and assemblies every month to markets in Europe, North America, and Australia. It supports a wide range of sheet metal components and assemblies, including special processing for metal parts up to 4 meters in length. Production currently focuses on soft alloys such as aluminum and hard metals including titanium, inconel, and steel.
The operations team brings extensive sector experience, developed through training at Aernnova facilities in Europe and America before the plant became operational. The organisation has an overall workforce of around 350 employees.

Role summary
This position is responsible for managing recruitment for junior to mid-level roles, partnering with business leaders, sourcing candidates through multiple channels, coordinating interviews, and closing offers while maintaining a strong candidate experience and a healthy hiring pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Own the full hiring cycle for junior to mid-level positions, from understanding the manpower need to releasing the offer.
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify role expectations, required skills, and hiring schedules.
- Find suitable talent through job portals, professional networks, social media, and proactive outreach.
- Use Boolean search, market mapping, and niche sourcing methods to build strong candidate pipelines.
- Screen resumes and profiles against job requirements, then share concise shortlist summaries with hiring teams.
- Arrange interviews across stages and panels, and keep candidate movement updated in tracking systems.
- Follow up promptly with candidates and internal stakeholders to keep the process moving smoothly.
- Support offer discussion, negotiation within approved compensation limits, and closure of accepted offers.
- Stay engaged with selected candidates until joining to reduce dropouts and last-minute declines.
- Develop and maintain a structured talent pool for current and future hiring needs.
- Use past applicants, referrals, and passive talent sources to shorten hiring turnaround time.
- Ensure candidates receive clear, timely, and transparent communication throughout the process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates during the recruitment lifecycle.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience using Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn sourcing, and social media channels for hiring.
- Strong Boolean search capability for junior to mid-level hiring.
- Experience in passive sourcing and market mapping.
- Ability to create role-specific talent pipelines.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems or recruitment trackers.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and Naukri RMS.
- Comfortable using MS Excel or Google Sheets for hiring dashboards.
- Ability to coordinate interviews through email and calendar tools.
- 8 to 10 years of recruitment experience.
- Preference for candidates from consultancy firms who have handled non-IT recruitment in manufacturing and aerospace environments.
- Education preferred: MBA or MSW.
- Open to working with internal cross-functional teams.

Applicants should be qualified in B.Tech / B.E. in any specialisation. The role is best suited to experienced recruitment professionals who can manage non-IT hiring, especially in manufacturing and aerospace settings.
