Position Overview
The Assistant Fruit and Vegetable Manager plays a vital role in carrying out daily operations in the department, contributing to a seamless shopping experience for customers while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills as part of the Woolworths Store Leadership Pathway, serving as a foundation for advancing within the retail industry.
Work Schedule
- Tuesday: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Wednesday: 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain an engaging and inclusive workspace where team members feel valued and empowered to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Provide operational support to the department team, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions aligned with store standards.
- Collaborate with store teams to guarantee an outstanding shopping experience and a positive work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols to protect team members and customers within the store environment.
