About the Role
As an Assistant Department Manager in the Fruit and Veg area, you will be part of a store leadership pathway that helps build the foundations for a future career in retail. With guidance from store leadership, you will develop practical management capabilities and learn how to support the department’s day-to-day operations.
This position is central to the smooth running of the department and to creating a positive experience for customers and team members alike. It is designed as an important step in the broader career development journey within the store.
Work Pattern
The roster shown for this role is Tuesday to Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The role also offers the possibility of a 4-day work week, subject to personal needs and business requirements, to support a healthier work-life balance.

What You Will Do
You will help manage the department’s daily activities, work closely with colleagues across the store, and contribute to a great shopping experience for customers as well as a supportive workplace for the team.
