About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join a prominent 4-star coastal hospitality venue in West Cork. This is a vibrant, fast-paced pub and bistro environment demanding a proactive hands-on leader to assist the Pub and Bistro Manager in delivering top-tier guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a front-of-house team of over 30 staff members.
- Maintain consistently high service standards across all food and beverage areas.
- Be actively engaged on the floor overseeing daily service operations.
- Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Support the training and professional development of team members.
- Handle guest feedback promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational regulations.
- Assist with stock management and control.
- Collaborate closely with the management team to guarantee efficient service delivery at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or busy food and beverage establishment.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial position.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills.
- A customer-centric, enthusiastic, and energetic approach towards hospitality service.
Additional Information
