Role Overview - Assistant Finance Manager: Global FP&A

The role encompasses updating and enforcing global financial policies, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting corporate administrative budgets, and supervising finance process enhancements, all to fortify the company's financial governance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously revise global management reporting processes and ensure compliance with financial rules and standards, particularly revenue recognition.
  • Develop and sustain financial models covering annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and five-year plans while managing management reporting tools like PowerBI and OneStream.
  • Analyze financial information to detect trends, provide insights facilitating strategic decisions, prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, and compile quarterly investor reports.
  • Maintain accurate cost center-to-department mappings and coordinate with regional finance teams to align financial requirements with overall business strategy.
  • Oversee the corporate General & Administrative (G&A) budget monthly, collaborating with department leaders and operational teams to comprehend business influences on financial outcomes.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at modernizing finance processes and IT systems to improve the precision and efficiency of financial planning and reporting.
  • Help prepare documentation for audits and provide support during external audit processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent qualification; ACCA or CIMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant finance experience encompassing Group FP&A, finance business partnering in multinational corporations, or audit experience at a Big Four firm.
  • Balanced background in audit and management accounting with strong business partnering skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and chart creation; proficiency in PowerPoint presentation tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with a resilient disposition.
  • Experience in software or consulting industries is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI is required.
