Job description
Role Overview
This position is part of the scholarship team dedicated to managing the Scholarship programmes at DSTA. The appointed individual will be responsible for ensuring the competitiveness and appeal of the Scholarship offerings, maintaining strong scholar engagement, and efficiently handling the programme budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to keep the scholarship programmes at DSTA appealing and current.
- Lead evaluations and updates of scholarship schemes to ensure they maintain attractiveness to prospective candidates.
- Foster meaningful interactions with scholars to enhance their connections within DSTA and the Defence Technology Community.
- Oversee and allocate the scholarship budget responsibly to guarantee adequate funding for ongoing and future scholarship initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a tertiary qualification in fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Arts & Social Sciences, Communications Studies, or an equivalent discipline.
- Have at least six years of professional experience relevant to the role.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both spoken and written.
- Show strong analytical capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Adapt well and excel within a fast-moving and dynamic work environment.
