Role Responsibilities

In the role of Assistant Director of Rehabilitation, you will guide a skilled clinical team focused on patient recovery. Your duties include direct patient care, overseeing rehabilitation services, and upholding high-quality standards. You will foster teamwork, encourage referrals when beneficial, mentor and support therapists and assistants in crafting rehabilitation programs that rebuild and enhance patient abilities. Flexibility and attentiveness to the needs of patients and staff are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology is required; a Master's degree is preferred
Licensure or eligibility for licensure within the state of practice
Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing procedures
Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
Capacity for independent decision-making and problem solving
In-depth familiarity with applicable state practice regulations
Ability to effectively engage with patients, families, staff, visitors, and regulatory bodies
Skill in motivating and managing rehabilitation personnel

Compensation

The role offers an hourly wage between USD 50 and 60.
