Job description
Role Overview
In this position, you will support the Head of the Doctrine & Training Branch in implementing training programs for all active personnel and National Service members assigned to the Military Medicine Institute (MMI), including Military, Defence Executive Officer, and National Serviceman Full-Time categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate medical policies and standards that are not military-specific.
- Lead the integration and adoption of new medical technologies.
- Organize and conduct training sessions across clinical and medical fields for active and National Service personnel.
- Maintain and update training content, Standard Operating Procedures, and doctrine documents to align with current medical knowledge and audit criteria.
Challenges
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest medical policies, directives, standing instructions, technologies, and audit standards.
- Enhancing personal medical knowledge and clinical skills to maintain effectiveness as a credible trainer.
Qualifications and Experience
- Preferably holds an educational background in Medicine, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of six years’ relevant experience, ideally including clinical practice or medical training in a public or private healthcare setting within Singapore.
- Solid clinical expertise and knowledge.
- Proven training delivery capabilities.
- Competence in data collection and analysis.
