About the Role and Team
The College Board Operations division oversees the digital test delivery process that supports millions of students annually. The Assessment Delivery Operations (ADO) team is crucial, managing exams like the SAT and AP tests. This involves ensuring test locations comply with security and network standards, training and certifying proctors for consistent test administration, verifying students have proper documentation, and swiftly resolving testing issues. The ADO team collaborates closely across internal teams and education stakeholders to enhance testing technology, customer experience, and overall outcomes. This position supports the implementation of SAT and PSAT assessments at the state level, assisting district and school test coordinators to meet federal and state accountability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison between schools, districts, and College Board internal teams to resolve escalations efficiently.
- Foster strong partnerships with internal teams such as CRA State Partner Success, State/District Partnerships, and external state partners.
- Support the State Success Manager in Department of Education meetings and communication with stakeholders.
- Provide expert guidance on SAT and PSAT administration to district and school test coordinators.
- Proactively reach out to prepare schools and districts for digital test delivery.
- Represent student and educator experiences in policy, process, and solution discussions.
- Lead training sessions and remote office hours tailored to contractual requirements.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and onsite visits, escalating issues appropriately.
- Work under stringent deadlines and manage sensitive test-impacting situations meticulously.
- Create and implement manual workaround processes when necessary; recommend improvements to streamline or automate such tasks.
- Support data entry and exception handling manually when required.
- Assist in developing customer-facing reports monitoring readiness and testing activities.
- Collaborate closely with management and project teams to maintain schedule adherence and risk management.
- Coordinate with Technical Support and Services for Students with Disabilities to resolve issues expediently.
- Communicate formally and informally with internal and external teams regarding assessment status.
- Deliver personalized training and high-touch support on behalf of partner teams.
- Analyze trends in customer needs to propose process enhancements and improved escalation handling methods.
- Perform additional assigned duties to support assessment delivery success.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in K-12 educational technology, assessments, or school/district/state office roles, ideally with testing coordination background.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for engaging educators and customers about program management.
- Proven experience designing and leading training workshops or webinars.
- Self-driven to contribute toward strengthening assessment programs and customer engagement.
- Proficient in tools like Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Smartsheet, and adaptable in selecting suitable tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude for tactical problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in fast-paced environments, demonstrating flexibility and cooperation.
- Comfortable resolving ambiguity and creating clear actionable pathways.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for school and district visits.
Qualifications Required
- 3-5 years relevant K-12 education, assessment, or educational technology experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional listening capabilities with strong customer service focus.
- Experience with productivity and collaboration platforms including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Smartsheet.
- Experience using AI tools (Claude).
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in dynamic settings.
- Willing to travel 1-2 times monthly to College Board offices or for business purposes.
- Preference for candidates based in Colorado, though applications from other locations will be considered.

Employment Details and Compensation
