Role overview

NTUC Club is looking for a senior leader to shape and grow its corporate partnerships and event product portfolio. The role sits within the Corporates – Product Development team and focuses on building long-term partnership strategy, expanding high-value collaborations, and improving engagement outcomes for corporate clients while supporting the Labour Movement’s wider objectives.

This position also plays an important part in growing the organisation’s future revenue by increasing the value of event offerings and strengthening the wider ecosystem of partnerships and programmes. The role will lead the local event product development and curation function.

Strategic partnerships and business growth

  • Identify, develop, and scale strategic partnerships that fit NTUC Club’s priorities and corporate engagement goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners from different industries to lift brand reach, improve product relevance, and create recurring revenue opportunities.
  • Create and implement partnership plans that deliver measurable outcomes, support programme innovation, and help grow offerings such as UPlay for Business.
  • Prepare and present partnership proposals, pitch materials, and supporting strategic documents for business development activities.

Product development and event programming

  • Provide strategic direction to the local product team in designing, refining, and curating event concepts and programmes that create meaningful employee engagement for corporate customers.
  • Guide the team in building distinctive, purpose-led event products that strengthen the organisation’s value proposition and contribute to organisational and Labour Movement engagement aims.
  • Ensure that product development is informed by market insight, partner strengths, and client requirements so that programme offerings remain relevant and scalable.
  • Maintain strong cost discipline by managing programme budgets effectively to protect margins and keep costs sustainable.

Stakeholder collaboration and team leadership

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure partnership commitments and product delivery are executed smoothly.
  • Coach, lead, and develop the Partnerships and Product teams to meet performance goals, encourage innovation, and build organisational capability.
  • Act as the key link between external partners and internal teams to align objectives, timelines, and resources for efficient and high-impact programme delivery.

Qualifications and other requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Events Management, or a closely related field is required.
  • Applicants should have 8 to 10 years of demonstrated experience in pitching, securing, and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong networking ability, along with practical knowledge of product development and event management, is essential.

Preferred qualities

  • A collaborative professional who works well across functions and contributes positively in fast-moving environments.
  • Someone who brings strong energy, motivation, and enthusiasm to inspire colleagues.
  • A curious learner who enjoys doing things differently and embraces teamwork.
