About the Role
The Health Promotion Board is hiring a highly driven, inventive, and adaptable professional to help move health promotion from research into real-world practice. This position contributes to shaping the next phase of public health impact by converting insights from research, data, and emerging technologies into large-scale population solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee high-impact initiatives in strategic growth areas.
- Manage the full digital product lifecycle, from idea generation and feasibility testing through evaluation and deployment at scale.
- Apply behavioural science principles to the design, implementation, and review of user-centred experiences and products.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, data scientists, deployment teams, and practitioners to create practical and innovative solutions.
- Showcase the value of solutions to citizens by using measurable outputs and outcomes.
- Build persuasive narratives to secure support and alignment from both internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to think strategically and simplify complex issues into clear priorities.
- Strong aptitude for connecting ideas across different fields and turning them into workable solutions.
- Working knowledge of behavioural insights and design thinking.
- Comfort with ambiguity and complexity in a fast-moving environment.
- Curiosity, openness to new ideas, and a willingness to learn unfamiliar areas quickly.
- Solid project management capability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences.
- Capability to work independently or as a team lead when needed.
Requirements
- A good degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of overall relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end projects, including stakeholder coordination.
- At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams on end-to-end product cycles or multi-year programmes.
- Practical experience and a proven record of applying behavioural insights and/or design thinking.
- Experience in public health, healthcare, health sciences, research, or quantitative fields will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of AI, especially generative AI, will also be an advantage.
- Selected candidate will be appointed on a 2-year contract initially.

This role is based in Singapore and is a full-time onsite position with the Health Promotion Board.
