Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Complaints Officer to join the Department of Children and Families in Darwin. Reporting to the Manager of Complaints Resolution, this role involves supporting the department by receiving, documenting, coordinating, investigating, and helping to resolve complaints related to departmental services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the intake and logging of complaints within the Quality Assurance and Improvement - Complaints Resolution unit.
  • Coordinate the process of investigating complaints to ensure timely and thorough resolution.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address issues raised in complaints effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the complaint handling process.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant administrative experience commensurate with the Administrative Officer level 4 classification.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage complaint processes efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.

  • Remuneration Package: Total package ranges from $91,503 to $104,322, including a base salary between $77,344 and $88,179.
