Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in driving daily operations and achieving commercial targets at the Ashburton branch. This role involves overseeing diverse teams including customer service reps, drivers, and warehouse assistants, ensuring smooth internal operations. You will manage customer service, warehouse, and delivery functions, fostering a safe, productive, and customer-centric workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a varied branch team, ensuring operational excellence.
- Manage daily internal activities and branch functions to meet commercial goals.
- Create and maintain a safe and efficient working environment focused on customer satisfaction.
Candidate Qualifications
- Experience in customer service; automotive or trade industry experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient in computer use; familiarity with Excel is beneficial.
- A genuine passion for cars or automotive parts.
- Strong communication skills with a positive and proactive mindset.
- Capable of maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
- Team-oriented approach, demonstrating a willingness to collaborate and contribute.
- Possession of a full, clean driver's license.
Working Hours and Compensation
This full-time position operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with alternate Saturday mornings required. A competitive salary package is offered, supplemented by incentive programs for excellent performance and significant product discounts.
