Assistant Accountant

Role Overview

Apaz Radiators & Oil Coolers seeks a diligent Assistant Accountant experienced in handling daily accounting and documentation duties using Tally Prime and MS Excel. The role focuses on managing comprehensive accounting tasks within a manufacturing or automobile-related environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting entries including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journals through Tally Prime.
• Prepare and validate sales and purchase invoices accurately.
• Maintain detailed ledgers for customers and suppliers.
• Conduct GST-related accounting tasks and perform reconciliations.
• Support e-way bill processing and invoice documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, and ledgers systematically.
• Create and update accounting reports utilizing MS Excel.
• Keep precise records along with all supporting documents.
• Review accounting entries to detect and correct inconsistencies or errors.
• Assist management with routine accounting and financial paperwork.
• Organize and maintain proper filing of all account-related documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Graduation required; B.Com degree is preferred.
• Proficient and experienced in using Tally Prime for accounting activities.
• Solid working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with GST regulations and foundational accounting concepts.
• High accuracy and speed in data entry.
• Capable of working independently with accountability.
• Experience in manufacturing, automobile, or auto-component sectors is an added advantage.

Additional Information

This position is centered on Tally-based accounting operations. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on expertise with Tally Prime, routine accounting transactions, GST processes, Excel reporting, and reconciliation duties.
