Core responsibilities

Portfolio performance

• Keep close track of the overall health of the lease book across all finance partners.
• Follow repayment activity, overdue balances, defaults, and collections outcomes.
• Assess profitability by partner, product line, region, and rider segment.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance updates for the portfolio.

Asset performance

• Review vehicle usage levels and productivity across the fleet.
• Spot assets that are idle or not performing well.
• Track each asset from deployment through to ownership transfer or recovery.
• Study downtime trends and recommend ways to improve them.

Financial analysis

• Match repayment records against financier statements and internal records.
• Examine cash movement and the economics of the portfolio.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling work.
• Monitor unit economics across different financing structures.

Operational analytics

• Create management dashboards.
• Define key performance indicators for fleet operations.
• Analyse rider productivity, retention, and earnings.
• Measure how efficiently the portfolio operates.

Risk and collections

• Identify early signs that a rider may default.
• Build reports that flag high-risk riders and assets.
• Support recovery planning and collections actions.
• Recommend interventions based on portfolio data.

Reporting

• Produce regular reports for financing partners.
• Prepare reporting packs for OEM partners.
• Provide updates for internal leadership.
• Support investor reporting and board updates.

Systems and data

• Maintain accurate records across the lease portfolio, asset register, rider database, fleet management tools, and financial systems.
• Protect data consistency between operational and financial platforms.

Process improvement

• Automate reports that are produced repeatedly.
• Improve the way data is collected.
• Design dashboards for operational tracking.
• Create standard operating procedures for portfolio reporting.
• Support rollout of new analytics tools.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, portfolio management, or operations analytics.
• Strong capability in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Experience creating dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Preferred exposure to asset finance, leasing, banking, fintech, or mobility.
• Preferred experience with operational datasets.
• Useful knowledge of fleet management or logistics.
• Familiarity with Python or R is an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP systems or fleet management systems is an added plus.
