Job description
Role Overview
This teaching role is centered on delivering art instruction to students and supporting learning through classroom teaching and district-wide specialized education and skill-building programs. The position is part of the Teacher Specialist group within the district.
Qualifications
Applicants must have Arizona Elementary Teacher Certification. The candidate should hold one of the following certification combinations: an Elementary K-8 certificate with Art approved as an area or Art K-12 endorsement; a Secondary 6-12 certificate with an Art K-12 endorsement; or an Arts Education Pre K-12 certificate. An SEI endorsement is preferred.
Licensing and Certification
A valid IVP Level One Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is mandatory for this position.
Employment Details
This opening is for the 2026-27 school year. The assignment follows a 194-work-day schedule, based on a 216-day teacher calendar.
Start Date
New teachers are expected to begin on July 8, 2026.
Compensation
Pay is referenced through the district’s certified salary structure.
