Art Director (w/m/x) Digital

Role overview

ECONSOR is looking for an experienced digital art director to take ownership of UI/UX design work, guide a design team, and help shape visually strong digital products. In this role, you will work closely with creative professionals, UX and UI specialists, and PHP developers to build the foundation for modern websites, landing pages, and online shops.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate trained UI/UX designers
• Act as the go-to contact for all design-related questions
• Develop concepts for new projects
• Take the lead in the conceptual and visual development of web projects
• Improve and refine existing design solutions
• Maintain communication with clients by phone and in writing

Profile

This role is suited to someone who has completed vocational training or a degree in media design, UI/UX, or a related design field, and who already brings substantial hands-on experience. The position calls for someone ready to take responsibility and manage a team.

Requirements

• Completed training as a media designer or a university degree in UI/UX, media design, or a similar subject
• Strong practical experience in UI/UX, including user-centered design, customer journey thinking, content strategy, and frontend development
• Confident use of standard prototyping and design tools from Adobe Creative Cloud
• Several years of agency experience
• Prior experience leading a team is an advantage
• Strong enthusiasm for the latest technologies
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a strong sense of responsibility
