Art Director / Senior Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

• Take full creative command of graphic design for all social media campaign materials.
• Ideate, draft, and produce various ad formats including images and carousels.
• Implement ongoing optimization of designs by conducting A/B tests and applying insights.
• Develop and oversee a structured network of freelancers covering illustration, motion graphics, UI, and photography.
• Provide clear briefs, effective guidance, and constructive feedback to external creative contributors.
• Ensure all design deliverables pass quality checks prior to internal approval and client submission.
• Create and maintain consistent design guidelines, style guides, and brand systems.
• Keep designs fresh and competitive through active trend research of brands and industry competitors.
• Present design concepts to clients and respond positively to their feedback.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical experience in art direction, preferably within agency or rapidly growing creative teams.
• Mandatory knowledge of AI-powered design tools, with exposure to AI video creation being advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise designing for social media campaigns, with understanding of factors influencing campaign effectiveness.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate a network of freelance creatives.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring quality and consistency that sets work apart.
• Advanced skills in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and/or After Effects.
• Experience with interaction design, quick prototyping, and quality assurance procedures.
• Self-directed working approach with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Fluent English communication skills; German language skills are beneficial.
