The Area Retail Manager will be responsible for driving outstanding sales performance and operational excellence across Full Price and Factory Outlet stores within the designated region, including Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Boost sales, profitability, and overall efficiency of retail operations within the assigned area.
- Achieve set business objectives by enhancing store output, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead market expansion efforts and seek new retail opportunities within the region.
- Ensure uniform compliance with PUMA’s brand guidelines, retail processes, and campaigns.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop skilled Store Managers to build effective retail teams.
- Work closely with franchise partners and stakeholders to promote sustainable growth and streamline operations.
- Maintain high customer service standards at all front-facing points.
- Manage manpower allocation to ensure optimal staffing across stores.
- Coordinate recruitment activities for store managers alongside Regional HR.
- Keep abreast of competitor products, pricing models, and emerging retail trends and technologies.
- Initiate new business strategies to improve ROI and customer experience.
- Scout and propose potential new business locations and properties.
- Ensure all stores maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Oversee discounts, store campaign rollouts, and promotional events.
- Engage institutional coordinators for partnerships, promoting PUMA merchandise through events and activities.
- Analyze market competition and sales mapping relative to PUMA's footprint.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings with franchise owners to ensure seamless store operations and identify growth prospects.

Organizational Relationships

Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related disciplines is mandatory.
- Over 5 years of experience in sales and/or management roles.
- Strong communication and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated history of consistently meeting sales targets.
- Availability to travel extensively, up to 75% of the time.
