Role Overview
The Area Manager overseeing the Florida territory is accountable for the daily operational efficiency, safety compliance, and cost management of their region. This role focuses on expanding LoJac's presence by strengthening service quality and customer relationships to ensure long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand and solidify LoJac’s operations within the assigned Florida area by establishing a robust foundation for sustainable growth.
- Champion workplace safety and ensure adherence to all health and safety policies, making safety a core priority in daily activities.
- Identify lucrative market segments and cultivate strong, ongoing business with both new and established clients to maximize service value.
- Promote awareness of LoJac’s Hydrovac service offerings through education and market development to sustain growth across relevant industries.
- Develop and supervise personnel to be knowledgeable, safe, and self-reliant, ensuring necessary training and certifications are completed under direct oversight.
- Prepare and manage an annual budget considering market forecasts, equipment needs, capital expenditures, and cost controls in pursuit of financial targets and profitability.
- Conduct job site visits for bidding, inspection, and preparation, coordinate dispatch operations involving units and staff.
- Fulfill additional company assigned tasks as necessary.
Additional Duties
- Perform overtime work when directed by supervisors.
- Be prepared to stand, kneel, and walk for extended durations as required.
- Participate in OSHA and First Aid training to enhance safety expertise.
- Undertake any other responsibilities as demanded by business requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma is required.
- Preferably 5 or more years of experience within the Hydrovac industry.
- Possession of a valid Class B CDL license is mandatory.
- Tanker endorsement along with a clean driving record is essential.
- Successful completion of background and drug screening is required before employment.
