The organization emphasizes design quality, human-centered outcomes, and collaboration across disciplines. It also places importance on sustainability and on creating work that adds real value to society.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Director, Associate, or Architect in carrying out the project team’s design approach and management plan.
  • Coordinate between stakeholders, guide collaboration, and help ensure that everyone’s inputs are aligned with project goals.
  • Check design work for alignment with applicable codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
  • Track project progress, monitor team deliverables, and help maintain timelines and target outcomes.
  • Contribute to business development efforts for potential clients.
  • Take part in practice-improvement efforts and sustainability-focused initiatives.
  • For Architects, carry out duties expected of a Qualified Person under Singapore’s Building Control Act.
  • Carry out pre-design tasks, including feasibility studies, site reviews, and zoning analysis.
  • Translate client requirements, budgets, schedules, and authority constraints into workable design solutions.
  • Develop design proposals with attention to technical requirements, standards, codes, and practical resolution of issues.
  • Support conceptual and detailed design development with the Project Director, Associate, or Architect.
  • Prepare the overall project programme and schedule.
  • Handle project documentation and tender-related preparation.
  • Draft material specifications and finish schedules.
  • Oversee construction-stage project work, including site issues, design clarifications, and handover coordination.
  • Assist with project administration and record-keeping.
  • Support the administration of building contracts of any form.
  • Review shop drawings.
  • Work with technical officers and architectural coordinators on construction drawings and documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants from different disciplines on design and technical matters.
  • Carry out other project-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • A degree in Architecture, such as BArch or MArch, or a Graduate Diploma from a recognised and accredited institution.
  • Strong working knowledge of design tools and software, including AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office.
  • Clear understanding of planning rules, building codes, and regulatory procedures.
  • Highly organised, accurate, and analytical in approach.
  • Strong visual sense and creative design judgement.
  • Solid knowledge of the architecture and construction industry.
  • Comfortable solving problems and working in a structured way.
  • Able to take a broad, integrated view of design and collaborate with specialists where needed.
  • Self-driven, methodical, and capable of working independently while managing time well and meeting demanding deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fresh graduates may apply; candidates with experience and Qualified Person status may be considered for Architect roles.
