About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tasks assigned by the Project Director, Associate, or Architect in line with project goals, while maintaining quality and professional standards.
- Provide support on design matters, technical issues, and the interpretation and application of building regulations and codes.
- Handle feasibility studies and contribute throughout the design development stages.
- Review and interpret information gathered from site analysis.
- Prepare and support documentation for conceptual and detailed design phases.
- Coordinate with consultants on design, technical interface, and regulatory matters.
- Assist with tender documentation and contract administration using standard forms of contract.
- Compile information needed for approvals in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Support procurement-related activities.
- Attend site and consultant meetings focused on design, coordination, and compliance matters.
- Work collaboratively with team members on shared project tasks.
- Create models in Revit or CAD, or prepare hand-drafted sketch drawings when required.
- Use digital platforms and computational data to support pre-design and design work.
Requirements
- A degree in Architectural Studies, BA (AS), BSc, or BArch.
- Strong working knowledge of design tools and software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of planning requirements, building codes, and related regulations.
- Highly organised, careful with details, and comfortable working through data and technical information.
- Self-driven, methodical, and able to work independently while managing time effectively under tight deadlines and client expectations.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to work closely with different stakeholders and team members.
