Role overview
K2M Design is seeking an Architectural Designer who brings a positive attitude, contributes to a strong team culture, and is motivated by solving challenging client needs. The role is based in Cleveland, Ohio and is centered on building trusted relationships and delivering results that support the firm’s growth.
In this position, you will work as part of an architectural team, independently developing design and technical solutions while receiving guidance from a Project Manager, Architect, Designer, Engineer, and other team members. The role also supports ongoing professional growth and learning.

Responsibilities
- Support project teams under the direction of a Project Manager, Architect, or Engineer.
- Use design technology tools to prepare project documentation.
- Convert sketches into polished design drawings.
- Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with design analysis, planning studies, occupancy studies, and limited layout development.
- Prepare specifications and help compile and analyze project-related data.
- Draft reports and specification documents as needed.
- Continue progressing toward completion of Architectural Experience Program (AXP) requirements.
- Travel for client meetings, consultant coordination, site surveys, and construction administration, with travel expected to account for about 5% to 10% of time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited college or university.
- At least 2 years of experience in architecture.
- Hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, scheduling tools, specification software, and standard business applications such as MS Office, Adobe Suite, and Google Docs.
- Ongoing continuing education relevant to the role.
- Participation or membership in a nonprofit or community-interest organization.
