Job description
Role overview
Machert Planungsbüro GmbH is looking for architectural support in the planning phases LP 1 to 5. The office is a compact, highly committed team of engineers, architects, technical drafters, and administrative staff. Its project volume has grown steadily in recent years, covering the full planning process from concept through execution. To meet this demand, the company is seeking reinforcement for a wide range of projects in Berlin and Hamburg.
The work includes both new construction and refurbishment projects. Assignments may involve commercial properties, renovation of residential buildings with or without heritage protection, sports halls, schools, kindergartens, and other public-sector buildings.
Responsibilities
- Handle inquiries for new projects independently across all planning topics.
- Develop and coordinate concepts and execution plans with clients for new-build and refurbishment projects, including preliminary design work, review of building regulations, and assessment of site utilization.
- Independently liaise with and coordinate authorities, specialist planners, and external project partners.
- Maintain clear and transparent communication with everyone involved in the project.
- Ensure that schedule and quality requirements are consistently met.
Requirements
- Completed degree in architecture or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience and broad technical expertise.
- Independent, accountable, analytical, and results-focused working style.
- Confident use of standard office and digital tools.
- Strong ability to work as part of a team.
Terms and conditions
The position is a permanent full-time role with 38.5 hours per week. Compensation is negotiable. The start date is immediate. The role offers varied and interesting work, a small and highly engaged team, room to implement your own ideas, and a workplace culture with flat hierarchies where trust and responsibility are given from day one.
