Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for an Architect to join our team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The role involves assisting in architectural design, technical drawing preparation, and project coordination to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to developing and refining architectural concepts tailored to project needs.
• Support preparation of layouts, presentations, and various design options.
• Create detailed architectural and working drawings along with accurate documentation.
• Ensure drawings align with design goals and technical feasibility.
• Participate in client meetings by preparing and presenting drawings and reports, incorporating client feedback accordingly.
• Assist in planning and monitoring project timelines to complete assigned tasks punctually.
• Maintain adherence to applicable building codes, local by-laws, NBC, fire safety, and accessibility standards.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, vendors, and internal teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Collaborate closely with senior architects and teammates to achieve milestones and encourage knowledge sharing.
• Support project implementation via site visits, documentation updates, and liaising with site teams for timely issue resolution.
• Follow BIM/CAD standards for precise and consistent drawings.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and maintain organized project documentation.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Understanding of building codes, local by-laws, National Building Code, fire and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with architectural systems, materials, and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in BIM/CAD software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience in design development, preparing working drawings, and basic coordination with consultants and site teams.
• Exposure to site execution processes preferred.
