We are initiating a specialized Relocation Program targeting seasoned Aramco Inspectors possessing robust experience in vendor inspections in mechanical and electrical fields. This initiative aims to provide a lasting career opportunity based at our Lyon, France office, coupled with support such as visa and work permit sponsorship (single status) and relocation assistance.
The appointed Vendor Inspector will conduct thorough inspections of equipment, components, and fabrication processes at supplier locations. Ensuring strict adherence to Aramco specifications, international codes, and client standards is a key responsibility. This position is tailor-made for professionals passionate about maintaining quality and safety while building a stable career in Europe.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Welding, Materials, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience range from 5 to over 10 years in vendor inspections within oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or heavy fabrication sectors; prior involvement in Saudi Aramco projects is highly advantageous.
- Must hold valid Aramco "approved vendor inspector / VID" status with current QM codes.
- Required Aramco approvals include QM26 and QM30 (both mandatory); QM27 and QM31 are also beneficial.
- Certification requirements include successful completion of Aramco Competency Based Test (CBT) and NDT Level II/III certification in relevant techniques (PT, MT, UT, RT).
- Welding Inspector certifications such as CSWIP, AWS, or equivalents, and code qualifications like API/ASME standards pertinent to the department (e.g., API 650, API 620, ASME Section V/IX) are essential.
- Deep technical expertise in welding, metallurgy, heat treatment, materials testing, recognized codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, ASTM), inspection procedures, NDT methods, and fabrication processes.
