This is a full-time, on-site role in Sofia, Bulgaria for an Arabic-speaking content moderator focused on social media safety and community standards. The position suits someone who enjoys digital communication, online communities, and fast-paced moderation work, and it includes support for relocation to Bulgaria.

What You’ll Do
- Check and review user-posted content across major social platforms in Arabic and English, making sure it follows community rules and platform policies.
- Detect and respond to harmful, offensive, misleading, or policy-breaking material such as hate speech, graphic content, misinformation, and spam.
- Sort and prioritise reports according to internal procedures, and pass complex or sensitive matters to senior moderators or team leads.
- Track social media trends, risks, and cultural context within Arabic-speaking communities so decisions remain accurate and appropriate.
- Keep clear and detailed records of moderation decisions, actions, and outcomes in line with quality and compliance standards.
- Work with Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams to improve moderation workflows and overall platform safety.
- Share useful feedback on repeated content issues, developing patterns, and possible policy gaps.
- Handle sensitive material professionally, with strong emotional resilience and sound ethical judgement.
What We’re Looking For
- Native-level or fluent Arabic skills in both spoken and written form are essential.
- A valid EU passport is required for on-site employment in Bulgaria.
- Interest in social media, digital content, and online community management.
- Strong judgement and the ability to make accurate decisions in a high-pressure moderation environment.
- Good cultural awareness, especially in relation to Arabic-speaking audiences and communication styles.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong written communication, and the ability to stay accurate and productive over long moderation sessions.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Previous experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer support, or another digital role is helpful but not required because full training is provided.
