Role overview

This full-time onsite role is part of Amazon’s operations team at the Niagara Falls, NY site. The position supports operations leaders and associates in driving strong performance inside the fulfillment center, with a focus on clear communication, team motivation, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Launch bonus information

This role is eligible for a launch bonus of $10,000 before tax.

Eligibility for the launch bonus

• The candidate must be based at a site more than 50 miles from the launch location, measured from the candidate’s home site to the launch site.
• The candidate must not have received any other launch bonus during the current calendar year.
• The candidate must be hired within 30 days of the first receive (FR).

Launch bonus payout and repayment conditions

If accepted, the bonus is paid automatically three weeks before the start date. The bonus is prorated based on time served at the new launch site and may need to be repaid in the following situations:

• The employee leaves Amazon voluntarily or involuntarily within 12 months of receiving the bonus.
• The employee is demoted voluntarily or involuntarily within 12 months of receiving the bonus.
• The employee does not start at the new site.
• The employee laterally transfers to another site within 6 months of the launch.

Work environment and physical demands

• A safe workplace is expected at all times, including use of safety gear such as a reflective vest and participation in safe-work practices.
• The dress code is relaxed and casual as long as clothing meets safety requirements.
• Noise and temperature may vary despite climate controls; hearing protection is available.
• You may be assigned to a secure mezzanine up to 40 feet high or to powered equipment such as a forklift or cherry picker.
• The job may require lifting up to 49 pounds and standing or walking for 10 to 12 hours, along with frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Encourage and motivate team members to support operational goals.
• Help maintain safe working conditions across the assigned area.
• Support operations leaders and associates in achieving strong fulfillment center results.

Basic qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office products and applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime when required.

Preferred qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

Compensation

The starting hourly pay for this role in Niagara Falls, NY is $23.00 to $24.00, based on shift selection and location. Additional earnings may include overtime pay and performance bonuses.
