Key Responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business prospects at major account customers into products and sales, ensuring smooth implementation on production lines.
• Monitor at-risk products and devise clear strategies to safeguard company interests.
• Collaborate in strategic planning for key accounts alongside account managers.
• Maintain frequent interactions with technical teams at large accounts, fostering strong relationships.
• Inspire customers with innovative, industrially viable finished goods concepts.
• Deliver expert presentations, seminars, and training on products, technologies, and solutions.
• Participate or lead seminars and events with Sales, Marketing, and R&D departments.
• Provide timely troubleshooting support to customers to resolve production challenges.
• Proactively identify opportunities for cost reduction through innovative solutions.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, quality standards, and confidentiality protocols.
• Work with R&D to tailor new products, adapt existing ones, and contribute to product formulations.
• Contribute early in the general market product development process, coordinating with R&D and Marketing.
• Apply analytical methods to understand deviations and develop successful test plans.
• Lead development projects from start to sales, using SANCOC methodology.
• Provide technical guidance on product features to support effective usage by customers.
• Communicate HQ guidelines and new developments to the local market.
• Support knowledge sharing among colleagues and customers regarding Puratos products and technologies.
• Stay informed on new technologies, machinery, trends, and techniques, sharing insights within the technical community.
• Maintain the Innovation Center's organization and cleanliness through 5S methodology.
• Identify relevant industrial equipment for Innovation Center use.
• Ensure top performance via standardized baking tests.
• Coordinate raw material procurement for tests and industrial demonstrations.
• Report food safety and quality concerns promptly and act per quality procedures.
• Build and nurture networks with schools, machinery manufacturers, and professional bodies.
• Document customer activities and project progress using CRM and management tools.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in industrial bakery environments.
• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Fluent English is required; Albanian and/or Macedonian proficiency is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of ingredients, additives, food chemistry, online processing, packaging materials, and relevant legislation.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Valid Category B driving license.
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year, primarily to Belgium or Germany.
• Customer-focused with a strong drive for business development.
• Adept at translating creative ideas into practical, industrial-scale finished goods.
• Analytical mindset coupled with effective problem-solving capabilities.
