Role Overview and Responsibilities
As an Apartment Property Manager, you will oversee the daily administration of a 340-unit residential community located at The District at Westborough in Katy, TX. Your role includes leading and mentoring onsite staff, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring tenant satisfaction. Duties encompass managing rent collection and operating expenses, addressing resident issues professionally, implementing sales and marketing techniques to drive leasing success, performing property inspections, and maintaining compliance with company policies and documentation standards.
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate has at least two years of prior experience managing apartment communities, including overseeing onsite personnel, with a history demonstrating stability and strong leadership. Required skills include effective coaching, performance management, sales and marketing acumen, excellent interpersonal communication, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience managing conventional properties with over 200 units is necessary. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is beneficial but optional. A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are mandatory. Applicants are required to live within twenty miles of the property or be prepared to relocate.
