Role overview
This position supports the upkeep and day-to-day operation of an apartment and condominium complex in Windsor, Ontario. The role is carried out entirely at the physical work site, with no remote-work option.
Language requirement
English communication is required for this job.
Education
A college, CEGEP, or another non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting one to two years is needed.
Experience
Applicants should bring between 3 and less than 5 years of related experience.
Work environment
- Apartment/condominium complex

- Residential setting
- On-site only; remote work is not available
Main duties
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs
- Use industrial vacuum equipment to remove dirt, scraps, debris, and other waste
- Collect and dispose of garbage from bins and waste containers
- Clean interior windows, walls, and ceilings
- Carry out small fixes on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and bring in tradespeople when larger repairs are needed
- Promote available units
- Arrange repair and maintenance support through contractors
- Complete minor appliance repairs
- Carry out safety and security inspections
- Present apartments and office spaces to prospective tenants
- Relocate heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Handle routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall patching
- Water and care for plants, lawns, and gardens
- Disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Work with limited supervision
- Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Experience and specialization
Work involves paint and wallpaper materials, cleaning duties, and use of power tools.
