Role overview

This position is part of SAP’s APAC effort to make the RISE with SAP go-to-market approach more focused, standardized, and scalable. The role sits within a regional cross-functional Blackbelt team that works across market units and acts as a central source of expertise for best-practice RISE business motions, design, and execution at scale.

The Blackbelt team reports into the APAC CRO and jointly owns the 5Ps framework: Products, Processes, Pricing, Programs, and Practice. This specific role is centered on Programs and Practice, with responsibility for helping ensure consistent delivery, faster deal progression, stronger win rates, and lower risk across complex enterprise opportunities.

Programs and Practice responsibilities

  • Lead and govern the regional programs and practice workstreams within the 5Ps framework.
  • Support initiatives such as MOVE, Safekeeper, expansion motions, and demand generation.
  • Build and maintain repeatable playbooks, enablement materials, and field-ready sales assets.
  • Help ensure RISE go-to-market execution is consistent, clear, and scalable across APAC market units.
  • Work with the CRO to shape and roll out RISE transformation motions to the field.
  • Create high-quality solution content, sales plays, and reusable go-to-market assets for broader field adoption.
  • Act as an accelerator for field teams by improving execution without duplicating local resources.
  • Partner with Marketing, Digital, and Market Unit teams to turn strategy into practical plays, assets, and execution guidance.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and coach for Fit2Suite and the RISE methodology.

Experience and profile

The role calls for senior-level experience in S/4HANA functional work, solution deal captaincy, demos, and COE functions. The ideal candidate should have a strong history of supporting complex, enterprise-scale, multi-line-of-business deals and be comfortable influencing multiple market units at a regional level. This role also requires solid content development skills, familiarity with partner-led go-to-market models and ecosystem scaling, and confidence engaging with C-suite and senior leadership stakeholders.

  • More consistent and higher-quality RISE go-to-market execution across APAC.
  • Better conversion from S/4HANA and ECC on-premise installed bases to RISE through MOVE, Safekeeper, and related execution motions.
  • Shorter time-to-value for field teams through reusable plays and assets.
