Role overview
A leading international law firm is expanding its global Risk & Compliance team and is hiring an experienced AML Compliance Analyst in London. The role sits within a centralised team and focuses on helping protect the business from financial crime while ensuring clients are onboarded smoothly and in line with regulatory obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) checks.
- Draft and maintain risk assessments for clients and matters.
- Analyse sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening outcomes.
- Guide fee earners on AML controls and client onboarding requirements.
- Support the broader financial crime compliance framework and help improve internal processes.
Candidate profile
The firm is looking for someone with at least 18 months of AML or financial crime compliance experience gained in a law firm. A solid grasp of the UK Money Laundering Regulations and LSAG Guidance is essential. Experience in a centralised AML or Risk & Compliance team would be advantageous.
