Mitchell Martin Inc. is recruiting an Anti-Fraud Associate based in Charlotte, NC. This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000. The selected candidate will play a critical role in a financial services environment focused on detecting and preventing fraudulent activities across various banking channels.
Primary Responsibilities
- Utilize fraud detection software to monitor and analyze transaction data for suspicious behavior.
- Investigate fraud alerts and document findings, escalating high-risk incidents as appropriate.
- Review cases thoroughly and determine outcomes according to risk evaluation and company policy.
- Generate detailed reports ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with teams to improve fraud detection strategies and minimize false positives.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Between two to five years of experience in fraud detection, financial crime investigations, or related roles within the financial sector.
- Practical experience working with fraud detection platforms.
- Comprehensive understanding of various fraud schemes and compliance regulations.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective written communication skills.
