Role Overview

We invite committed individuals to join our team and contribute meaningfully to our mission of animal protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily animal care duties and husbandry, ensuring activities align with safety protocols and high-quality standards.
• Develop and implement enrichment activities tailored to species-specific needs.
• Assist with veterinary procedures and treatments as necessary.
• Upkeep and maintenance of enclosures, buildings, and outdoor sanctuary areas.
• Help coordinate the secure transportation of animals into and out of the sanctuary.
• Support visitor management including coordinating daily visitor flow, guided tours, and special events within the sanctuary.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant education or qualifications in animal care, with knowledge of biology and animal behavior.
• Practical experience handling large cats is essential.
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards related to wild animal care.
• Strong interest in animal welfare and wildlife conservation topics.
• Fluent in German, with excellent written and spoken communication skills; English proficiency is advantageous.
• Resourceful, adaptable, creative, hardworking with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Computer literate, proficient in MS Office, and possess a valid driver's license.
• Passionate about the vision and mission of FOUR PAWS and committed to animal welfare.
